LAPC: The final table will not be studded with stars

The final table of the WPT LA Poker Classic is a little bleaker than expected because the names and familiar faces such as Carlos Mortensen, Annie Duke, Steve Sung, Mark Newhouse and Johnny Chan have been eliminated before this final meeting. What began as an event studded with stars has became a tournament where these big players were eliminated very soon. To judge, we should probably take a quick glance at the Main Event of the World Poker Tour LA Poker Classic. The day of Wednesday which brought together a group of 22 players in the Hall of the Commerce Casino, which fought to win their ticket to the final table was a carnage for celebrities. The action was at the heart of this day more memorable than it has been difficult to determine the last six and the process was very long.

The superstars couple, Dylan Martin Linde and Dan were the first to go, and they were quickly followed by Annie Duke, who had mounted a short stack for some time before losing the race. The former champion Mark Newhouse, who was looking for a coronation for his return in the scene of poker and whose last conclusive result was a victory in the WPT 2006, saw his trip come to an end in the 13th place. Mari Lou Morelli, the last representative of woman player in the tournament, was eliminated shortly after the owner of 10 WSOP bracelets Johnny Chan.
