The second day of the North American Poker Tour has seen the return of 475 players. But the day 2 of the competition hadn't smiled to the 327 players present on this day. Among the eliminated Dennis Phillips, Barry Greenstein, Joe Cada, Joe Hachem, Chris Moneymaker, Amanda Baker, Daniel Negreanu, Josh Arieh, Carter Phillips, Kevin Schaffel, Jeff Shulman. After this massacre, only 150 players on the 872 players who took the start of this first step of the North American Poker Tour were qualified. Greg Raymer, Vanessa Rousso, Nam Lee and Tom Mc Evoy are still in the course and also the French Fabrice Soulier. He is placed in a very good position in this tournament. An emblem of French poker for a long time, "Fabsoul" comfortably occupies the 20th place ranking, he is followed by Vanessa Rousso (21st), Steve O'Dwyer (22th) and Bill Chen (23rd).

France still have four representatives in this stage of the NAPT because Bruno Martin (28th), Ludovic Schlam (35th) and Klaus Pautrot (96th) are still in contest. Andrew "LuckyChewy" Lichtenberger is in the head of the tournament and occupy the position of chip leader. With a total of 618,700 chips, he supplants leaders of the day1 Andy Seth and Steve Billirakis. On the 150 players remaining, 128 of them will finish in the money. Accordingly, the first thing to do for each player when the game will restart is to defend their position before the bubble burst. The minimum payment is $ 7,200 while the prize reserved for the winner is $ 827,000.
