NAPT Prelude: Poker and show biz stars were present in mass

The kickoff of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) was held this Friday, February the 19th at the Venetian, in Las Vegas. This was a prelude of the first stage of the Venetian NAPT which take place in the casino of the same name until February the 24th. Many celebrities have been invited to this "Charity Event" of €500 buy-in, there was many poker celebrities subscribed to this kind of charity tournaments like the Canadian Daniel "The Kid Poker" Negreanu, Vanessa Rousso, the recent winner of the World Series of Poker Joe Cada and even Phil "The Poker bratt" was present. Many stars of show business and sport were also present around the table.



For artists delegate, the famous guitarist Slash from Guns & Roses and the rapper T-Pain or the actors Christian Slater, Montel Williams and Jason Alexander have made all the show. Sport was represented by the legends of skate Tony Hawk and the baseball player Orel Hershiser. The beneficiary of this tournament was the organisation of charity "Three Square" which has received a check of $ 42,915 on behalf of dozens of associations which fight against hunger in Nevada. The launch of the North American Poker Tour has been carefully orchestrated by its organizers who have done well this North American Poker Tour as a direct competitor of the World Poker Tour, which will have a lot of trouble on the next future.
