Deepstack Open: The famous poker tournament type arrives in France

The Deepstack Open of Dublin was a great success for its organizers, D4Events, and the sponsor. The tournament was sold out 3 weeks before the event. In accordance with the three years of partnership that organizers announced in January, they will continue to invest in this segment of tournament “Deepstack” in Europe and around. It will be done because this poker tournament which registered a great success will turn up in France soon. The date of the French step of the international circuit Deepstack Open has been announced: the event will take place from Friday the 9th to Sunday the 11th of April inside the Pasino Partouche Aix-en-Provence. This second version will keep the same formula as the Irish edition which was a tournament with €550 of buy-in limited to 500 gamers, with a large depth of stake and a slow structure.

However, the step Deepstack Open of France will make some innovations and the next steps will benefit from these innovations. If the tournament was won by a player from the gaming platform of the sponsor, an additional price will be added to the prize pool. Another innovation of this poker tournament, the French stage will include an “insurance Knock-out: a player who had eliminated five other players unless he manages to return his money will have his buy-in refunded. Let us remember that the first edition held in Dublin was marked by a high participation of French players, nearly 300 of the 465 players in the Main Event. The tournament was won by a tricolor player, Frederic Brunet, who returned home with 50.000 Euros in prizes.
