Online gambling: The Czech Republic is not immune to illegal sites

The Czech Republic is a forerunner in the sector of online gambling legalization. This country ahead many European countries, including France, in the adoption of law about this sector. Statistics on online casino and online poker company speak themselves in the Czech Republic, they register unprecedented increases. We can say that the Czechs are really fond of online gambling. Czech legislation does not make everyone happy, it is even controversial. Indeed, the legal operators feel injured face to the operator off-shore. Sites of online gambling can operate legally in the country. For this, they just need to be licensed and meet the specifications of the government. With this license, everyone can offer gambling legally, but they should pay 30% tax income.

But operators of casino, poker and sports betting on the Internet outside the territory of the Czech Republic does not have this license, but they also continue their activities without being disturbed. Consequently and logically, they make more beneficiaries because they are free of all taxes. They can pay the luxury of devoting more funds for promotion and advertisement. So these marginal sites attract more and more players. This difference in treatment is scandalous according to legal operators of online gambling which can do anything face to international giants of this industry. For its part, the Czech government was well aware of this problem, but it seems not to provide any measures to fight against this scourge. Technically it is still difficult to develop effective ways to filter these illegal sites.
