Nordic Poker Awards: The ceremony will proceed in margin of the EPT of Copenhagen

If the European Poker Tour (EPT) of Deauville has been just ended, the circuit continues its tour cross all Europe. After the Norman step, a new stage of this European circuit is already prepared; it is the European Poker Tour of Copenhagen which will take place from the 14th till the 21st of February, 2010. The event will take place at the hotel SAS Radisson, more exactly in the Copenhagen Casino. The most awaited episode of this stage will be the Main Event of €5,000 buy-in. As the tournament proceeds in Scandinavia, many Scandinavian players will make the displacement. Because of the presence of many players in the Danish capital, the organizers wanted that the Nordic Poker Awards will take place at the same time as the EPT of Copenhagen.

The ceremony which will take place in “Classic Park Café” is programmed for Monday the 15th of February, 2010 at 8 a.m. For this year, the Nordic Poker Awards will reward only four categories which are the best player in live tournament, the best performance, the best online player and finally the best hope of the year. These awards of poker will honor the best “Scandinavian” players of the last year. The trophy “Woman player of the year” was withdrawn from the list. Among the nominated, we find great names of poker coming from this part of Europe like Patrick Antonius, Ville Wahlbeck, the second aspirant for the title of player of the year 2010 at the WSOP, and the winner of the EPT Copenhagen, Jen Kyllonen.
