iPad of Apple: The next “Must have”?
After several months of noises, the Web abounded in the most insane rumours about the future shelf of the firm of Cupertino. On last Wednesday the 27th of January, the dad of Apple, Steve Jobs, put end to the speculations by revealing in the world the iPad, the very last product of his company. In a few words this last born is a kind of large iPhone able to go on Internet, to read books and to have the applications of App Store. It has the advantage of being more practical than a portable computer and to be more legible than a mobile phone thanks to its high definition screen entirely tactile. This product could be the weapon of predilection of wandering poker players, for example in the living room or in the airports; they will have their favorite sites in hands with the comfort of a traditional portable computer.
But Ipad is far from being perfect because the machine is deprived of flash and Java, which constitutes an obstacle for the machine in particular for the access to sites of casino and online poker. It will be necessary to pass by the service of validation of Apple which as we know, tends to put large restrictions on software which can operate on its platform. It will be necessary to pass to the decoding of the machine before to use a not optimized version. The players of online poker will have thus to calm their heats and to arm themselves with patience before having a true application of poker on the machine. However, the iPad remains very interesting on paper.
