Moroccan Poker: Hairabédian to give it a new breath this year
Roger Hairabédian had finished the year 2009 in beauty, with in his prize list the title of the best French player awarded by the French Federation of Players of Poker and the magazine Live Poker, thus succeeding Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier. Roger Hairabedian, account to finish again on the podium at the end of 2010 and think consequently to become at the same occasion the only player of poker in the history to carry out twice this title. In this context, he has just begun the competition in Africa well far from the European coldness. For his first tournament of the year, BigRoger went to Senegal where he gained the High Roller of Dakar with 3,000 euros of buy-in. He shone among the 33 players present at the event and thus takes down the sum of 45,000 euros.
Besides his statute of the best French poker player, “The Terminator” has several caps, because he also occupies the function of official consultant for the Casino d’Evian and the Casino Es Saadi, in Marrakech, Morocco. The goal of Roger Hairabedian in this partnership is to bring somethings to the Moroccan Poker, but also to offer to Europeans and especially to French, a true cultural and geographical escapade which will turn around the poker. “It is a true pleasure of developing the poker here in Marrakech”, he added. For 2010, Roger is still of the adventure and he brings some changes in the formulas of the organization already proved as reliable. With his touch, Moroccan city will become soon an obligatory stopover as regards poker.
