Aussie millions: Another appointment of poker in the tropics has just begun

The players who participate in the last festival of poker of the Bahamas the “Caribbean Poker Adventure” did not have yet time to take a rest. A few days after the end of this last poker tournament of scale, another meeting also has just started in the country of the wallabies. The Australian appointment became one of the most important tournaments of poker in the southern hemisphere. The tournament will take place, between the 14th till the 31st of January, 2010, in Melbourne which will be during these two weeks the capital of the world of poker. As novelty of this year 2010, all of fans of poker in the whole world will be able to follow in real time the unfolding of the competition. The video sequences will be available on the official site of the Aussie Million. Another novelty for this year 2010, the construction of a new surface which will increase moreover the capacity of the Crown Poker Room of Melbourne with 12 new tables of play.



The first day of the $1,100 No Limit Hold'Em tournament had joined together a field of 327 participants, which is a record as regards of the multitude of poker tournament in the area. This field made possible to increase the guaranteed prize pool which had already reached $1,000,000. On the 327 participants, stars of poker were plethora; we could see professional players like Eric Assadourian, Emad Tahtouh, Tony Hachem, Jonathan Karamalikis, Matthew Pearson, James Broom, Dave Lee, Mitch Carle, Ben Delaney or Dean Nyberg. At the end of the first day, only 51 participants get their ticket to stay.
