Cash Game: An extraordinary come back of Gus Hansen

The Dane Gus Hansen, icon of the world poker, revealed a few weeks ago that he was going to take a pause, after a very bad season for him. Gus Hansen is a player who excels in tournament; the proof is his 3 titles of the World Poker Tour (WPT). The most unbelievable in the history, if we make a resume of 2009 for Gus Hansen who had won up to 4 million dollars of positive result in March 2009, practically he lost 10 million dollars in 9 months. It is in Omaha Pot Limit and Horse that he lost the most. Phil Galfond and Ziigmund were those who take pleasure to strip it. He became the fish in front of many good players.

During this pause Gus Hansen wanted to analyze his basic play. The pause would have been beneficial for “The Great Dan” who begins the year with very good results. The Dane had announced his pause of the tables of cash game but he did not know resist a very long time in the call of the game, he comes back and decided to support his new statute of fish which he inherited in 2009. At this beginning of year, he occupies the second place of profits in tournaments of poker cash game with 212,510. 30 $ behind Richard Ashby who won until now 275,489.10$.
