Tournaments of poker: Scenes of violence observed

Anyone doesn’t know if it is because of the overdose of adrenalin or another reason, but violence is more and more invited to poker tables, even in the most prestigious tables, these last days. Lately Las Vegas and Sydney were the theatre of violence during a major tournament. Indeed, one week ago, a violent fight was seen during a High Roller tournament of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour of Sydney which was held in the room of poker of Darling Harbour Star City. The facts proceeded as follows, a man, not identified, approached the table of Ericksen Mark and quarrel with this last. After some words, the individual balanced his fist in the face of Ericksen. The man left as if nothing were, and the witnesses who attended the scene believed that the disagreement was settled, but Ericksen rose and uttered insults to his attacker. The unknown returned and the brawl burst.

On the other side of the Pacific, the Fontana Living room, room of poker tournaments of the Bellagio Hotel was also the theatre of a brawl. According to Bryan Devonshire who saw with his own eyes the unfolding of the brawl, Tony Korfman had strangled one of his competitors after having lost his calmness during the tournament. Sometime after the incident, Tony Korfman had explained on the forum of 2+2. “I did not lost my calmness. The unpleasant one in question has him lost his composure then balanced his tokens towards the guy who had gained the part. I always defend croupiers, supervisors and players who do not defend themselves. ”
