Polar Poker Challenge: When poker is associated with fishing

World Poker Entertainment stated that they prepare a unique tournament of poker in its kind. The event will take place during January 2010 on the lake Minnetonka in Spring Park, Minnesota. As particularity, this event will combine fishing on ice and poker. Let us recall that the lake freeze in this period of the year. To have more intimacy and of user-friendliness, the number of participants in this tournament will be limited to 500. In addition to the celebrities and international professionals of poker who will take part to contribute in the tournament, amateurs will be also invited to the event. The program will proceed as follows: the participants will have the joy of making knowledge with fishing on ice in the morning. After the meal, the serious things will begin i.e. the tournament of poker. The parts will take place in two large heated tents posed in the ice.



Separately to the poker, there will be other competitions during this Polar Poker Challenge like the contest of largest fish. The participants in fishing on ice can bring their captures to the organizers of the tournament, who will weigh them then. Prize will be allotted for the person who gets the biggest fish. In margin of the competition, the visitors can also taste the joys of curling, sculptures on ice and other activities related to snow. The “Polar Poker Challenge” will be a fundraising event to give a support for families and to children who fight against cancer in the State of Minnesota, the other part of the funds will be given to help children who fight against deafness throughout the world.
