Charitable poker: Celebrities give each other appointment in Bahamas
A great moment of poker will be held on next January the 8th in the very luxurious hotel and casino Atlantis Paradise Island. The event will join together the Gotha of sport and poker to support the fight against the world epidemic of AIDS. The buy-in to this charity poker is $5,250. Half of the takings will go to amfAR association to advance research against the disease. Large famous sportsmen already let know their participation such as the German former champion of tennis Boris Becker or the Swedish former professional player of hockey Mats Johan Sundin. Daniel “Kid Poker” Negreanu who will be also of the part did not hide his pride to play for the good cause. “As a pro poker player, I am very proud of taking part in it and to contribute to a cause as important as research against AIDS”.
Players of the whole world who will want to belong to this great human adventure can qualify themselves via Internet. Players who qualified themselves on Internet will receive their ticket to the Bahamas and will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with stars of sport and professional poker players. Let us recall that this charitable poker will be held on the fringes of a great tournament of poker which gives honor to this area of the Caribbean during which will be held not less than 50 tournaments. This 2010 PCA will be spread out over 10 days and will propose several alternatives of poker and various structures of tournaments.
