Absorbed by his work, he had waited 30 years before jumping the step. Accustomed to a style of poker which could be describe as “traditional”, he has spend five months to polish his play and to rewrite new original strategies to adapt it to the style of young players of today.

In his life, Pierre Neville did many various things: from the creation of a broadcast game with Eddy Merckx in 1969 to the direction of a multinational. But no activity really gave him satisfaction. For him, poker is a healthy entertainment, which lets you to develop your intelligence and your creativity. According to him, poker takes you along to make many meetings. Lately, the Belgian has just shown that the age does not really count in poker, he finished in the second place of the 2009 European Poker Tour of Vilamoura tournament. He had even beaten at the same time two records thanks to his age: that of 66 years old player to finish runner up of an EPT tournament and that of the oldest player to have reached the final table of a tournament.
