Poker: The best French players of the moment are not all coming from Internet

Anyone cannot deny that the French poker had registered a real success these last times and that the year 2009 has been a year of truly ostentation for the tricolor poker. Everywhere, in each tournament, French victories were observed. Even if the Breton Antoine Saout hadn’t taken down the supreme title of the Main Event of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), his third place gives more than ever success to the French poker. This third place is quite simply the best French performance of all times. Separately the Breton one, other French players shine on the world scene of poker. But as opposed to what one could think, these players are not all resulting from the rising generation of poker players on Internet.

This new wave of French poker player is mainly made up by people not leaving ordinary and who have a work, and whose majority inevitably do not have a contract of sponsoring. With the image of Christophe Benzimra, a French immigrant businessman in Romania since many years, who gained the EPT of Warsaw. There is also Jean Montury who had two titles of world champion by team of billiards in his board, one of the French the most prominent of the moment and finally the last, Eric Haik, the French who multiplies the prowess where he passes. The fact that these men have an activity other than poker enables them to have another live vision of the poker, what undoubtedly makes their force compared to the younger generations.
