EPT Snowfest: Added to the calendar of the 6th Season

It is the creator of the European Poker Tour (EPT) circuit in person, John Duthie, who reveals that another stage associated with the calendar of the 6th Season of the European Poker Tour will be added this summer. The circuit will make an escapade in the most famous Austrian ski resort, in Saalbach-Hinterglemm located in the Austrian Alps during the EPT Snowfest. During the announcement of the calendar of the second half of the Season 6 of the European Poker Tour, the surprise came from the “EPT Snowfest” which is a great first in the EPT. The choice of Saaldbach-Hinterglemm by the organizers is not a chance, it returns in optics of the expansion of the European Poker Tour wanted by John Duthie. Duthie who wishes that the circuit offers “fun” stages so that players can benefit from their stay apart from the tournament.

This new stage materializes the dynamism and the innovation of the European Poker Tour. With the competition of parallel circuits of poker, the European Poker Tour must give more than one simple tournament of poker. John Duthie thinks that players of today want more than just poker, so they must pay attention to choose places where there are things to make out of the tournaments: a pleasant city, what to have fun in the evening. Whereas tournaments like the World Poker Tour (WPT) is victim of the fall of participation, and statistics are not in its favour, the European Poker Tour knew a new moment of glory during the stopover in London which beat all the records, and this, in spite of an EPT Barcelona 2009 a little morose.
