WPT Festa Al Lago: $1.2 million and the title for Tommy Vedes

The final table of the World Poker Tour Festa Al Lago has just found its 2009winner. The six people who disputed the title who were Freddy Deeb, Tommy Vedes, Jason Lavallee, Craig Crivello, Jason Burt and Shawn Cunix designated after eight hours of meeting the winner. Thus, glory and fortune returned to Tommy Vedes, already holder of two WPT bracelets. He allots at the same occasion the check of $1.2 million for the winner. However, Freddy Deeb, the chipleader of the meeting was largely the favorite since the beginning of the part with 3.8 million tokens. Deeb was pursued closely by Shawn Cunix who had 3.67 million tokens in his possession. In the third place Tommy Vedes who holds an approximately stack of 3 millions tokens.

After the first 24 hands of this finale of the Main Event of the WPT Festa Al Lago, Tommy Vedes had already realized a fantastic increase and he was positioned in the 3rd place with 2.99 millions tokens, whereas the chipleader did nothing but slightly improve its assets. Thus, it was the turn of Shawn Cunix to leave the table in the 6th place after he had betted all of his stack face to Craig Crivello. He leaves thus with $168,970 profit. Jason Burt leaves also the table a few minutes after in the 5th place. A series of large pots acquired by Tommy Vedes face to Freddy Deeb and Crivello propelled him some hands later to go up in power and since it, he succeeded to increase his stack to 8.5 million tokens which allow him after to gain this part of poker. Jason Lavallee finishes at the 2nd position with 795,150$ of profit and 477,090$ for Craig Crivello at the 3rd position.
