WPT Marrakech: A French succeeds another French

The list of French poker players who shone in a large-scale poker tournament these last two months is very long. After Thomas Bichon's victory during the Cyprian stage of the World Poker Tour (WPT), another Frenchman appropriates the African stage of the same tournament. Last Sunday, October the 18th, the French Christophe Savary indeed won the bracelet of the World Poker Tour of Marrakech. The final table of the Main Event saw the qualification of three French people, proof once again that the three-colored poker goes well. The two other representatives of the French poker at this famous final table were Julien Arenodo and Ludovic Lacay. Apparently, the World Poker Tour does not want to smile to Ludovic Lacay, two years ago of it, this one failed near the glory by ending second of the season 5 of the World Poker Tour which took place in Barcelona. This year, it still seems that the adversity was incensed against Ludovic who ended the competition in the 3rd place.

After this very beautiful performance, Christophe Savary returned home with € 377,273 of gain whereas the two other French representatives respectively pocketed € 164,182 and €105,077. After Marrakesh, the European Poker Tour (EPT) will fly away for the Polish capital. It is the fourth time when Warsaw welcomes the European Poker Tour. The festival will take place at the Casino Hyatt Regency from the 20th till the 25th October and will propose in quite five tournaments, among which a Main Event of 25,000 PLN (approximately €5,950) and a prestigious High Roller.
