ESPN: Poker pros took naked photo for the magazine
For its first birthday, the American magazine of sport ESPN released in kiosks a special edition which has as title « The body issue ». This special number exposes several champions in various sports disciplines starting with tennis while passing by sumo, poker or athletics. Not less than 80 sportsmen and sportswomen lent their bodies to the magazine of sports, which made possible to readers to catch a glimpse of popular morphologies as various as possible. According to Gary Belsky, editor in chief of ESPN Magazine, the N°1 of media of sport had published this edition because “we always respected engagements which we made to fans of our magazine in order to show this different aspect from sport and athletes whom they like”
In the poker category, we find the champion Jennifer Harman accompanied by three « trash talkers » of poker who are Scotty Guyen, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu. A great challenge for the single women representative who dared to take photo, naked in the middle of three big players of the poker circuit, all used to big competition like the WSOP, the EPT, the WPT,… Even if the scene is a true art enhanced by the presence of the beautiful Jennifer Harman, readers’ eye will not be delayed on “pectoral” of “Poker Brat”. Admittedly it is a small part of players of poker but other fans would have wanted to see the bodies of athlete like Gus Hansen or Patrick Antonius. Always in the register of bodies of dream in this magazine, let us announce that it was the player of tennis, Serenna Williams, which made the cover of this new edition.
