World Head’s-Up Championship Poker: London welcomes the 9th edition

the Parks” is still in the memories of game enthusiasts as well as the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) and European Poker Tour of London, another big event of poker is coming. For its ninth edition, the World Head’s-Up Poker Championship also will succumb to the British capital charms and will pose its bags also there during a few days. Grosvenor Victoria Casino will be the host of this competition from October the 24th till the 31st. As it is about a Head’s up competition, the loser will be eliminated directly.

This year, the buy-in of the Main Event is fixed at £3,300 which is £800 more than that of the previous edition. The last survivor of the 128 players who will take the departure of the competition will be leave with a cheque of £200,000. To give a little more punch of dynamism to the competition, blinds which will start from 100/200 will change every half-hour, and will not evolve any more at the sixth level where they will be fixed at 500/1000. For the few story, note that the very first title of champion of World Head’s-Up Poker Championship was attributed to a French player of poker. It is about Bruno Fitoussi, wrestler of Amarillo Slim Preston. Last year, Nicolas Dervaux did the best French performance by ending at the 3rd position during the competition. In addition to the Main Event of head’s up which took place the first time in Vienna, this British edition will include many side-vents.
