Championship of Poker in Bretagne: Dominated by Beurel
After more than twenty hours of cold sweat and adrenalin, it was finally the young person Pierre Beurel who won the Championship of Poker of Brittany: championship which took place in Dinard, where 291 players played at the beginning. He is only twenty years old, but he already has the quality of a big poker player. To achieve this very good result, the young Breton really applied himself to it by using many sorts of strategies to overcome his opponents. The final table illustrated well Pierre Beurel’s tactics. He was among those who had a short stack; the chipleader had 50,000 chips, while he possessed only 12,000. He knew how to invert the situation and to raise the slope little by little. He neutralized first of all five of his opponents to get rid finally of an Inhabitant of Rennes.
Pierre is not at his first brightness, at the beginning of June he has already won the Championship interclubs of France with his friends of the Gwened Poker club. He began poker with a childhood friend, 3 years ago. They searched rules on internet then joined Gwened Poker Club. With this victory, Pierre won a seat for the big final of France Poker Tour which will take place in Paris at the beginning of the next year. As every poker enthusiast, he feeds the secret dream to go in the world capital of games, Las Vegas and to play some hands there with the biggest of the discipline and why not, to participate in the big tournaments as the World Series of poker (WSOP).
