WPT of Borgata: French victory thanks to Olivier Busquet

September was a period of success for the French poker. While the public still has in mind Thomas Bichon's victory during the World Poker Tour of Cyprus or exploits of the French people in the World Series of Poker Europe, there is another Frenchman shining in the World Poker Tour. Olivier Busquet has just gained the World Poker Tour of Atlantic City (WPT) called Borgata Poker Open. The Frenchman was among the 1018 players who took departure of this sixth stage of the World Poker Tour. It is a question there of the most mattering field of all the tournament history. This strong influx is doubtless due to the rather low buy-in which was fixed at $3,500. With this beautiful victory, Olivier Busquet gains a 925,514 dollar prize.

This triumph in this tournament was not a small matter for the Frenchman, because the tournament gathered WPT’ champions pit. Kathy Liebert, Gavin Smith (1 WPT bracelet, Jonathan Little (2 WPT bracelets and 8th position in Cyprus), Steve Brecher or Michael Binger were some examples of big names who participated in the event of Borgata. Less known on the French poker stage, Olivier is a High Stakes player of SNG Head's Up living in America more exactly in New York. He would have already gained more than 1.5 million dollars online only by playing Sit’n go Head's Up, this performance makes him one of the best players of Heads Up of the world. This victory follows the logic because the French begun the final table in position of chipleader.
