SPT of Vilamoura: Domination of French players

September has been a splendour month for the French poker. After the crowning of Thomas Bichon during the World Poker Tour of Cyprus (WPT), it was Nicolas Paloniato's turn to shine. This one has just swiped the victory of the stage of the Spanish Poker Tour which took place in the Portuguese city of Vilamoura. This Portuguese stage of the Spanish Poker Tour succeeded well enough for French players because 3 others French finish the tournament "In The Money". The best second French performance was awarded to Stephan Fajg who finished at the third position during the tournament, David Colin arrives behind him with honourable eleventh position whereas to the young French miracle Antoine Saout appropriates was awarded the thirteenth position. This performance is going to put in confidence Antoine Saout's November nine before the finale of the World Series of poker of Las Vegas.

For Nicolas Paloniato, this victory is his first success in the professional circuit, he earned a €27, 475-check. The Dutchman René Gisbertz ends at the second position behind the Frenchman. 101 players were present at the beginning of the main event of the Spanish Poker Tour in Vilamoura to play in order to win the €101, 000 prizepool. Another Frenchman has already gained another stage of the Spanish Poker Tour this year. Nicolas Paloniato thus follows David Collin's tracks who won on last June the stage of Castellon of this meeting. Let us remind that the Spanish Poker Tour reaches its second season this year, the season two was inaugurated on March the 20th in Gran Casino Aranjuez.
