WPT Legends of poker: Prahlad Friedman dominated the finale table

The World Poker Tour Legends of Poker which took place from the 22nd till the 26th August in the prestigious Bicycle Casino of Los Angeles awarded a prize to the American Prahlad Friedman. After four days of hard battle, they were no more than six to reach the finale table and to be able to win the big check of one million dollar promised to the winner. During this finale table, Kevin Schaffal's presence was noticed, one of the nine finalists of the Main event of the World Series Of Poker 2009 which will take place in Las Vegas. Under a beautiful day, the head’s up finale of the "November Nine" will face Prahlad Friedman. Schaffel’s 1,850,000 chips placed him in position of short stack face to the mountain of Friedman having in total 6,600,500 chips.

Gods of game were against Schaffal who was eliminated after only 18 hands. Among the players, there was also Toto Leonidas, resident of the Angels City and who has the reputation to skim poker tournaments which take place in Bellagio. But Toto was betrayed by his reputation for his first participation at the finale table of the World Poker Tour. Friedman who had finished the Main Event of the World Series of Poker with a modest 64th position takes down with this victory his first title of the World Poker Tour and the one million dollars prize. As for Schaffel, he did not go back empty-handed because he pockets at the same time a pretty sum of $471,670. For the continuation, the World Poker Tout gives us an appointment in Bratislava on August the 31st of this year.
