Grand Poker Ballroom: The biggest room of poker of the United States
The owners of the mythical Bicycle Casino of Los Angeles have just offered themselves a colossal birthday present: a luxurious poker room. The new room baptized Grand Poker Ballroom will welcome from now all major events in the American west coast. This new expansion of Bell Gardens casino since its starting so relegates it as the biggest room of poker on all the American territory thanks to its numerous gaming tables and its dining service. A charitable tournament of poker marked the inauguration of this new structure at the end of July, but it is on next August the 22nd with the starting signal of the World Tour Legends of Poker that it will be officially inaugurated.
If the beginning of the prestigious event of the WPT circuit had needed two days of tournament last year, the starting will be done henceforth in a single day thanks to the fifty available tables of poker in the new room poker. Day1A and 1B and division of players are thus an old story, because the entire tournament will begin the same day for everybody, and in the same room. The televised final table of World Poker Tour will also take place in the same room indeed far from the rumours decentralizing one-armed machines and other video poker. Created in 1995, the WPT Legends of poker of Bicycle Casino saw the passage of big names of poker as John Phan, Men Nguyen, Doyle Brunson or Dan Harrington. This year, the WPT will be held from the 22nd till the 26th of August 2009 in the same place.
