Partouche Poker Tour: The Schedule of the tournaments reorganised

If Partouche Poker Tour was foreseen to be held from September the 1st till the 6th of this year, organizers have just reorganized the date of this big tournament of € 3 millions euro prizepool guaranteed. The group’s blog has just announced indeed that the PPT will be delayed for one day and will be held from August the 31st till September the 5th. According to observers, this competition and EPT Barcelona 2009 held on the same date was one of the reasons which brought the French group to revise its calendar. With John Duthie, the European Poker tour’s founder who becomes the organizing boss of this big French poker tournament, he certainly stands back about the existing context to make such decision.

In the same way, the other innovation proposed in this new schedule was to separate the competition for public and the Main Event final table of the PPT 2009, as in the World Series of poker (WSOP) certainly. Instead of being played on September the 6th, the finale of the Main Event of €8.500 buy-in will also be shifted back on November the 21st at the Palm Beach Casino of Cannes. But once again, this final table will coincide with the last day of the EPT Portugal. In spite of this slightly delayed calendar, players as Phil Laak, Jennifer Tilly, Antonio Esfandiari and Freddy Deeb always maintain their presence at this tournament. After live and online qualifying for the PPT, a partnership with the radio Oui FM has just been launched by the group in order to offer other tickets for this tournament.
