«Poker in the Park»: London will receive on August its third edition
Having recorded more than 10.000 visits during its last edition in 2008, the event considered as the biggest festival of online poker in Europe is going to take place again this year. From August the 13th to the 14th of this year, the magazine Bluff Europe indeed invites Londoners and all enthusiastic about poker in Great Britain at the Leicester Square Park. «Poker in the Park allows to bring some enthusiasm to amateurs of poker in Great Britain, to get closer to their heroes, but also to give them the opportunity to improve their game and to play poker for free of charge with the other lovers of this discipline ", evoked Michael Caselli, editor of Bluff Europe, defining the reasons for being of this annual meeting.
This year, visitors can expect a full schedule during two days among which sessions of dedications, sessions of good advices, video stands in order to study in live the various hands played at poker but also free tournaments organized by local clubs. Stands where fabricants sale poker equipment at discounted prices and new products dedicated to this game will also be showed during this event. “Poker in the Park” will also be an occasion to hold a charity tournament with Jamie Gold, Peter Eastgate and 50 other players during the “Jamie Gold Charity Poker Tournament” in the evening of August the 13th. During the 2008 edition of this festival, Dave «Devilfish» Ulliot, Paul Jackson, Marc Goodwin were among the players who came at the event.
