Stars of Poker: Launching of tournament on Canal+
The launching of a new edition of Stars of Poker, a tournament which started on February, 2005 has just been done this day in Nîmes. This poker tournament of which is going to be played in six stages welcomes so professional players of the world classified among the best, celebrities of cinema, of sport, of television… who are enthusiastic about poker as well as players who are qualified on Internet. Unlike the tournaments broadcasted in live on TV, Stars of Poker which is produced by Canal + Events and KAWA Productions suggests enormous chances to the players winning at each stage because the number of the participants is reduced. With a total of 18 participants, each player thus has big chances to earn €100, 000 in each stage and a place for the great final.
For this first stage of Stars of Poker 2009, Bruno Fitoussi, Lucas Pagano, Dario Minieri, Katja Thater, Chad Brown and Marcel Luske compose the professional players’ group visible in this tournament. Sportsmen well known as Tatiana Golovin, Willy Sagnol, Jean-Pierre Papin, David Ginola and Gaël Monfils will represent for their part the athletes during this tournament.
