Main Event of WSOP 2009: Darvin Moon, chipleader of the Day 7

From the beginning, it was already difficult to guess who would win the WSOP golden bracelet, especially the first prize, this year. Big terrors of poker show all their capacity and performance at poker and do their best to have the chance to be qualified for the final table of November 9. Among 64 players of poker qualified for Day 7, there is still some 27 for the Day 8 of which three French poker players and it is still enough difficult to determine who will be the nine last ones. This day was a day full of new developments with these very ambitious players.



For this Day 7, from the beginning, Darvin Moon was the chipleader with 9,745,000 chips to end outstandingly this stage by accumulating the best stack of 20,160,000. With a 15,970,000, chips, the famous Billy Kopp had reached the second position. Thanks to his performance at poker, Phil Ivey knew how to accumulate chips with perfection, progresses serenely towards the final table of the WSOP by taking place in the fourth position, armed with 11,350,000 of stack. On the French side, Fabrice Soulier ends at the 49th position and had to make do with $138,568, what is already very well. But overalls will still have the chance to win this big poker tournament with Ludovic Lacay who is at the 15th and François Balmigère who had ended at the 27th position. "Allez les bleus! ".
