Yevgeniy Timoshenko : The Mozart Of Poker

After having seen on TV the Greg Raymers’ victory during the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in 2004, the young Ukrainian became fascinated about the magic of poker. Only aged 16 years old at that time, he began to play little by little online poker until he won a tournament with lower buy-in to Mukilteo, Washington, where he lives. His passion for the poker didn’t leave him to stop there. Quickly, Yevgeniy Timoshenko developed from Texas Hold'em to No-Limit Hold'em. Thanks to his exceptional talent of poker player, he quickly became a professional player at higher stages of tournaments. In this way, his bankroll increase more and more and in 2008, he could earn till $1 million.



When he was 19 years old, his victories at great live tournaments came one after another one if we talk only about that in No-Limit Holdem at $1,000 during the Irish Open 2007 in Dublin where he won $166,000, a gain that he increased by adding again $27,445 thanks to his victory at the final table of a No Limit Holdem tournament for $4,000 of buy-in during the Paris Open in France. At 21 years old, Yevgeniy Timoshenko showed his talent at the WPT World Championships for $25,000 of buy-in, in Bellagio. Seating around the final table and winning then the first prize of $2.1 millions, he is henceforth recorded in the list of the world Champions of the World Poker Tour.
