Online games: Paris wants to end the monopoly in the sector.
After the comments and a few changes suggested by the European Commission, the Government Fillon finally agreed to revise its government bill concerning on online games and sports betting which will be submitted soon. In this, ends the monopoly of the French games in the area even if that company will not let it do so easily by its FRançaise de Jeuxin this sector even though this enterprise won’t let its competitors to operate easily. The operators and all enthusiastic about online games can already be pleased because the application of this new legislation governing this sector is planned for the 1 January 2010.
However, even if foreign operators which already passed through control in their respective country won’t need to do it in France, it is always maintained by France that they must set up a fiscal correspondent on the spot. But this is more or less acceptable.
