Event#51 of WSOP : Carsten Joh wins the bracelet

The third day of the Event #51 of Las Vegas World Series of Poker (WSOP) was been a competition rich of palpitation. The battle between the 30 survivors among the 2.781 enrolled in this 1.500$ No-Limit Hold'em tournament was achieved on a victory of Carsten Joh after more than 13 hours of competition. During the Final heads-up, it was Andrew Chen that he defeated. This latest won the second position with a gain of $412,632 against an amount of $664,426 and a bracelet for Joh. This final phase of the 51st competition in this 40th edition of WSOP noticed the fast elimination of 14 players on only two hours of meeting. Lebiszczak (30th), Alex Jacob (21st), Viktoria Szilasi (13th) were the first to leave the table.

The second part gathering the first ten players around one table only was really interested. After Jon Mazursky bets a preflop, Jason Helder followed. But on opening his cards, Mazursky finds out that his pair of 5 is not enough against his opponent’s pair of King. On this hand, Mazursky leaves the table on the 10th position. Jason Helder (2.9 millions) and Levy with 2.5 million chips become the chipleaders. Nathan Page, the second having the smallest stack will be the next to leave the competition. In spite of his potential at the beginning, Helder’s stack collapsed quickly before he was eliminated at the 8th position. Georgios Kapalas, the French player Thibaud Durand, Owen Crowe, Steven Levy and David Walasinski’s turns comes one after the other. After a dreadful climb, the German player Carsten Joh beats at the final Andrew Chen in order to impress in this poker tournament.
