Temporary outcome of WSOP : Jeffrey Lissandro leads with 3 bracelets
After the completion of the Event#44 of the Wolrd Series of Poker ‘WSOP) which took place on Wednesday the 24th of June, Jeffrey Lissandro who was the winner facing his 835 opponents, won his 3rd bracelet at this 40th edition of Las Vegas tournament. After a hard battle against players like Michael Craig (2nd), Ryan Fisler (3rd) or Allen Bari (8th), he won so his third title of the season and increased his gains of $188,370. With this extra victory at Stud, Lissandro shows so his talent in this variant of poker. Currently, in the temporary classification of this competition, he is the player having the best position for the title of the best player of the year for this World Series of Poker 2009.
Some players who acquired two bracelets pursue him and will fight to catch him. Phil Ivey winner of two Events this year and possessing 7 bracelets at his prize didn’t say yet his latest word. Moreover, in the classification for this title, he is at the 2nd position. Brock Parker, the one who managed to win two bracelets quasi consecutively is also a player to not be overlooked. Ville Whalbeck who terminated at a very good position in several tournaments, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 13th… in some $10,000 Events closely follows them to.
