Hungary : €5 billions for building the biggest casino in Europe
After Spain and its project Gran Scala wanting to become the new capital of casino in Europe, a project of building the biggest casino and hotel complex of the continent has just been unveiled in Hungary. The American group Seminole Hard Rock Entertainment, one of the American greatest casinos’ operators and which is the owner of Hard Rock Café has just announced an immense project. “It is a giant project with €5 billions of investment in ten years”, Jim Allen, president of Seminole Hard Rock Entertainment declared during a press conference in Budapest.
This new temple of poker, black jack, bingo, roulette and other games on table and slot machines will be built in Hungary, near the frontier separating this country with Austria and Slovakia. It will be a complex equipped with 316 rooms with a gigantic casino which will shelter more than 1,500 slot machines, about a hundred game tables and ten poker rooms. This site of which the first part will be completed in 2012 and operational from this date on will be built so at about 200 km of Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava. With its realization, the Hungarian State will get till €500 millions of fiscal revenues in ten years. After having obtained a licence to operate during twenty years in 2006 from Hungary, with an option of ten extra years, Seminole group which belongs to an Amerindian tribe operates on its first casino in Europe.
