European Poker Tour : Program for the season 6 unveiled

After its success during the Season 5 in which more than 7,980 players from 97 countries participated and a €55 millions prize pool distributed, the European Poker Tour (EPT), becoming one of the greatest poker tournament in the world, prepares its 6th edition. “The new EPT season will take again the numerous events which contributed to the success of the previous seasons”, John Duthie, EPT director explained. The organisers of this poker tournament have just presented to the press its program. With the beginning of the EPT’s first stage on August, from the 17th to the 23rd, this tournament will start so in Moscow, a new destination. “The circuit will pass by 13 countries and will have four tournaments moreover than last season”, the first responsible for the EPT continues. After Russia, Portugal is also a new destination where The EPT will take place.



Extra festivities are added to this great poker appointment like the « Poker Festival ». During the passage of this event in the British capital on October, the tournament will organize the “Hilton Metropole Hotel festival”. Pot-Limit Omaha, an 8-Game tournament, High Roller and the Main Event are foreseen during this stage. Dates for different passages of the tournament in every European town were also announced during this conference : after Moscow, the EPT will be in Barcelona from September the 4th to the 9th, in London from October the 1st to the 7th, in Warsaw from November the 20th to the 25th, the stage of Vilamoura, Portugal will be held on November the 17th to the 22nd before passing by Prague from December the 1st to the 6th before ending with a stage in Bahamas from January the 4th to the 14th of 2010.
