WSOP 2009 : Rami Boukai won the Event#10

Instead of being played for two days, some World Series of Poker Events (WSOP) of Las Vegas had to be extended with another extra day because of players’ resistance. For the Event#10, Rami Boukai had enjoyed his victory only after a 29 hours competition during the $2,000 Pot-limit Hold’em/Omaha played on June the 6th. This player native of San Diego impressed facing the 453 other participants. Regular players of online pokers on sites like Poker 770 and live poker were one of these participants. The 18 latest qualified for the final day, were entitled to a gain above $10,293. Cousineau was the first eliminated. And a few hours later, the final trio was known. Ben Grundy was at the 3rd position ($99,574), Najib Bennani, 2nd position with a $151,355 gain and Rami Boukai won the bracelet and the first prize of $244,862.



Concerning the Event#9 case, a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em shorthanded tournament with 6 players in every table, Ken Aldridge won among the 1,459 players at the beginning. Five other great poker players faced the American player during the finale table. Manelic Minaya was the first eliminated after having played his entire stack facing Gould. Then, Charles Furey followed him and left with $80,896. After that, Cavella’s pair of queen eliminated, some hands later, Bryce Yockey leaving with $115,230. Then, the event’s champion will eliminate the two players remaining in succession. Peter Gould ended at the 3rd position with $170,953 and Carman Cavella 2nd. For his first position, Ken Aldridge wins his first bracelet and a $428,259prize.
