Phil 'OMGClayAiken' Galfond : More than $6,97 millions of gain on Internet in 2008

After winning a first WSOP bracelet during the PLO tournament for $ 5,000 Rebuy in Las Vegas last year, Phil Galfond, known by the pseudonym 'OMGClayAiken', had surely defeated the gains' record on all websites of poker on line. Getting more than $ 6,97 millions last year, he is the second biggest winner until now on all websites of poker on Internet, behind Phil Ivey. But this performance is not the result of hazard. This player follows a real training on line every day. "There is no ordinary day for me, just now. I work the entire day on my website if I don't have any competition", Galfond said.

In spite of his talent and his capacity, Galfond tells that the challenges like those launched by Patrik Antonius do not really interest him. "It is really difficult to determine if you got an advantage to defeat a player like Patrik Antonius, and if it is the case, it will be just a small advantage only and I won't make my bankroll at risk like that, he continued. And despite his enormous winnings, he still says that he prefers small competitions for $50/$100 and $500/$1,000. In fact, he already won a WSOP bracelet last year, but he still asserts that in general, the tournament do not really interest him because of the long travelling and shifting he has to do with. "I'm not a great fanatic of tournaments. I came there only to win the bracelet, and simply for this only one reason. However, for the WSOP 2009, he will be there, anyway and wants to win it again.
