Boyd Beats Hachem at WSOP's No Limit Hold’ Em Short Handed Poker Tournament

According to a recent report, Poker champion Joe Hachem finished second in the World Series of Poker No Limit Hold’Em Short Handed tournament in Las Vegas, conceding victory to Californian player Russ Boyd. Although it looked as though Hachem would keep his advantage on the "Dutch" until the end, the poker tables turned when the River revealed a 5, giving Boyd two pairs.

Following the victory, Boyd collected the $475,000 top prize as well his first WSOP bracelet. As for the Aussie runner-up Hachem, he was not sent home empty-handed either. Accordingly, Hachem's second place earned him no less than $345,000.
