Poker-Themed Art Exhibit Immortalizes Poker Legends in Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Casino

A number of the world's most famous poker players recently met at the Jack Gallery at the Mandalay Bay resort in Las Vegas for the opening of "The Legends of Poker" exhibit. Doyle Brunson, Thomas Preston, also known as "Amarillo Slim," and Johnny Chan attended the event, as well as poker legend Stu Ungar's daughter, Stefanie. The exhibition is the fruit of a joint project between the casino's art gallery, High Stakes Art and S2 Art Group Ltd, a fine art lithography company.

The pieces exhibited at the gallery – from World Series of Poker licensed collectibles to limited edition lithographs of famous poker players – are all available for purchase. The exhibit also features combined work by photograph Larry Grossman and graphic digital artist Craig DeThomas. Grossman has been shooting poker players for almost two decades and his work already adorns prestigious Las Vegas casinos such as Harrah's, Sunset Station and the Bellagio.

The artwork also includes 350 prints featuring Brunson, Chan and Preston, hand-signed by the poker players themselves. Prices range from $20 to $800. The exhibition is slated to run until the end of June and is open to the public free of charge.
