Online Poker Supporters Organize Nude March to Protest Anti-Gambling Legislation
A group of legislators from across the Unites States have vowed to bind together in support of online poker. Comprised of 32 legislators from both federal and state levels of government, the group of poker supporters has decided that drastic measures are necessary to protest the anti-online gambling legislation currently on the table in the federal legislature. And, by drastic, we mean naked. That's right, these lawmakers, who are calling themselves "Free the Felt," have opted for a rather unorthodox method of drawing attention and support; the group, which includes 27 men and five women, has vowed to march in the buff from Washington D.C's reflecting pool, the site of some of the country's most momentous protests, to the Capitol. The nude pro poker march has been scheduled for April 31. Until then, the legislators spearheading this historic event, who at present wish to remain nameless, hope to convince other lawmakers to strip down for the cause. One of the initiative's main supporters was quoted as saying, “Some people have told us that poker's just a game, and that we're causing a ruckus for something trivial. But this is anything but. This is about every citizen's basic right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of solid hole cards. Happy April Fool's Day!!! Please note that the details of this article have all been fabricated in the name of good humor, i.e., to the best of our knowledge, there is no nude pro-poker rally scheduled in the near future.
