PartyGaming Update: Mitch Garber named CEO of online poker giant
Fulfilling media expectations, online poker company PartyGaming announced that Mitch Garber has indeed been appointed as the incoming CEO to succeed Richard Segal, effective April 19, 2006. Segal will remain on board for the duration of the transition to oversee that the post is transferred over in an orderly manner. Segal will then leave PartyGaming on May 4, 2006, when the company holds its Annual General Meeting. Regarding his new position, Garber said, “PartyGaming’s achievements in its short life are amazing and on a par with the likes of the other internet majors... This is a great business and I look forward to working with my new colleagues."
