Major Record Label to Release Soundtrack for Your Home Poker Game
EMI, the biggest independent music company in the world, is giving devoted poker fans a way to rock out at their next home poker game. The company's Canadian division is adding a poker-themed offering to its "Best In The World Ever" music compilation series. The latest edition, "The Best Beer Drinking Album In The World… Ever! Volume III — Poker Night," comes as a follow-up to the previous two brewski-guzzling-appropriate CDs. The compilation includes a total of 18 songs, most of which are at best tenuously poker-related, but your poker buddies will probably be too focused on the cards to actually notice. Aside from Kenny Rogers' “The Gambler," the most natural addition to the CD, other songs include "Sold Me Down The River," by The Alarm, Sublime's "What I Got," and "All The Small Things," by Blink-182. “Poker Night" is slated to hit the shelves on April 4.
