$3 Motor Oil Brings Chance of World Series of Poker Qualification

There are certainly a lot of poker fans out there, and, chances are, a good deal of them buy the occasional quart of motor oil. Operating under this assumption, ExxonMobil, one of the global leaders in energy, petroleum, and petrochemicals, is helping one motor oil consumer get to the World Series of Poker (WSOP) for free. And unlike most other WSOP qualifiers, the Exxon promotion requires absolutely no poker play to earn the poker prize.

Anyone who buys a $3 quart of specially-labeled motor oil can qualify for the WSOP prize drawing by filling in the sweepstakes form and sending it on over to Exxon. The winner of the drawing will nab the $10,000 WSOP entry, in addition to lodging in Las Vegas and travel costs. The total poker prize is valued at approximately $12,000. With the drawing being held no earlier than June 15th, poker fans have plenty of time to stock up on motor oil.
