The L.A. Poker Classic came to a close late last week, culminating in the star-studded Invitational tournament. More than 300 of the brightest stars of screen and felt participated in the invitation-only No-Limit freeroll poker tournament. In the end, it was Barry “Robin Hood" Greenstein who emerged victorious, outlasting pros including Phil Hellmuth, Hoyt Corkins, Scott Fischman, Daniel Negreanu, and Mike “The Mouth" Matusow, as well as celebs like Jennifer Tilly, Jason Alexander, better known as George from “Seinfeld," and Norm McDonald of “Saturday Night Live" fame.

Greenstein earned his Robin Hood nickname because of his policy of donating tournament winnings to charity. Greenstein's rule is that cash games are for keeps; tournament winning are to give away. So too with the L.A. Poker Classic Invitational. Greenstein will donate his entire $100,000 prize to a presumably worthy cause. In addition to the $100K check, Greenstein also won the $25,000 buy-in to the World Poker Tour Championship, which he has decided to keep.
