The life of a poker pro, from the countless tournaments and travel perks to the product endorsements and celebrity parties, seems like a grand one. Getting there, however, is no simple feat. Consequently, PokerRoom.com is out to make going pro a little easier. Accordingly, one talented poker player will get a little help from the online poker site, with a six figure endorsement deal in the bag for the player who proves his mettle in a forthcoming poker tournament.

Emerging victorious in a series of online poker satellite tournaments, 10 players have qualified to compete for the grand prize: a $250,000 endorsement deal. The prize package includes buy-ins to 12 major tournaments - the World Series of Poker Main Event, World Poker Tour Bellagio 5-Diamond Classic, and the World Poker Tour Finals among them. In addition to buy-ins, the endorsement package covers travel expenses to and from the tournaments.

The ten finalists will board the Majesty of the Seas cruise ship on March 5, 2006, to battle it out on the felt for their shot at poker stardom. The winner of the Become a Poker Pro Tournament, a No-Limit Texas Hold 'em event, will claim the above endorsement deal with Team PokerRoom.com.
