Battle of the Pros: Poker and sports stars take to the felt in celebrity poker tournament

This past Friday night, sport of the body and sport of the mind came together for “The 2006 Legends Celebrity Invitational Poker Tournament," which was held at Las Vegas' Palms Casino Resort. Stars in the former category included Roger Clemens, Dan Marino, and John Elway, while celebrities sporting poker brawn included Doyle and Todd Brunson, Phil Ivey, Eric Lindgren, Barry Greenstein, Johnny Chan, and Chris Moneymaker, and more.

The stars came out to compete in the $2,500 buy-in charity poker tournament, which ultimately managed to raise close to $25,000 for charity. Despite all of the big names attending this poker event, it was Leren Rustem, a relative unknown, who took first place.
