Michael Mizrachi Grinds His Way to Borgata Winter Poker Open Win

The Borgata Winter Poker Open final, a World Poker Tour (WPT) event in Atlantic City, came to a close this week with Michael “The Grinder" Mizrachi emerging victorious. On his way to #1, Mizrachi, a young and promising professional poker player, outlasted top poker pros including Phil Ivey, Scotty Nguyen, Eric Seidel, David Williams, and Daniel Negreanu.

For his win, The Grinder took home $1,173,373, compared to runner-up John D’Agostino's win of less than half of that amount, $591,312, to be precise. Third place finisher, poker pro Erick Lindgren, won a respectable $282,721. The Borgata Winter Poker Open constitutes Mizrachi's second win on the World Poker Tour and his second consecutive placing at a WPT final table.
