Three-Card Poker Makes Its Debut at Aces.com

Aces.com, an online gaming site from the house of Sportingbet, announced over the weekend that is has begun to offer three-card poker as part of its casino game portfolio. Three-card poker joins Aces.com's lineup of casino table games, which already includes blackjack, Caribbean Stud, roulette, and more.

In comparison to many other poker game variations, three-card poker is more about the luck of the draw than anything else. Three-card poker is thus probably the simplest form of poker, requiring little actual skill. Three-card poker is comprised of two separate games, PairPlus and Ante and Play. Players can play both components of three-card poker at the same time, with varying bet amounts for each if they so choose. If a player folds in Ante and Play, he/she also forfeits his/her bet in PairPlus.

In PairPlus, players are dealt three cards, and win if they land a pair or better. Players are paid out based on their hand strength. There is only one round- what you're dealt is what you get. In addition, there is no raising. In the second game, Ante and Play, players first place bets without seeing their cards. After getting a look at their cards, players must decide to either raise or fold. When players raise, they then go up against the dealer's hand.
