No, at Poker777, we don't have a fetish for nude poker. Despite the fact that the subject has made its way to our headlines already once this week, this story was just too good to pass up. With the average age of nudists hovering around the 35 to 55 range, one clothing-optional resort is trying something a little different to bring fresh, um, meat into the fold: poker. Paradise Lakes Resort in Land O' Lakes, Florida, a town that has “lucked out" with a total of four nudist resorts on its terrain, is hosting a strip poker tournament geared toward college students in order to demonstrate the benefits of nude living to a younger crowd.

The strip poker tournament was the brainchild of Kristy Lucas, a volunteer intern at the resort. Lucas, a student herself, had the foresight to combine two things college kids are known to love: poker and co-ed nudity. Apparently, coordinators wanted to slant the gender balance, as the strip poker tournament is only open to couples and single women. In further effort to achieve a certain demographic, the tournament is free for participants aged 25 and under. Paradise Lakes' strip poker tournament will take place tonight at 6:30 p.m. Up for grabs are various Paradise Lakes paraphernalia, including gift certificates, and ironically, t-shirts.
