Hollywood Moves to Vegas For Poker Party Featuring DJ AM, Johnny Chan and Chris Moneymaker
LG Electronics is tapping into the poker trend to help hype its new mobile phone, the very cryptically named “V." Tomorrow, Hollywood poker aficionados will make their way to the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas for the inaugural LG All-Star Poker Showdown, hosted by “it-girl"-turned-comedienne Jenny McCarthy. Poker legends Johnny Chan and Chris Moneymaker will be on hand to give the celebrity guests hands-on poker tips. The two poker pros will also take part in the night's no-limit Texas hold 'em tournament, along with many other famous faces from poker and Hollywood. The winner of the tournament will receive a “home technology makeover" care of LG. The party itself will be nothing to sneeze at, with music provided by DJ AM, who has garnered a lot of media attention as of late due to his high-profile engagement to and subsequent split from Nicole Richie. Like all good parties, the LG All-Star Poker Showdown will also feature a well-stocked wet bar, not to mention chair massages.
